Welcome to St. Nicks

Update for Jan 2021

St Nick's Parochial Church Council have sadly decided to close the church building for public worship for the time being during this third national lockdown. We are still 'open' -worship and prayer is still happening, both online and in individual homes and we are currently working on plans for prayer packs, some online social activities and of course Sunday worship, which will be via zoom every Sunday at 10am live and then available via Youtube.

Just get in touch with us for the meeting ID and code if you'd like to join the live service.

"Think deeply, speak gently, love much, laugh often. Work hard, give freely, pay promptly, pray earnestly, and be kind".

Our Church Administrator is currently on furlough, so please contact the Church Warden Mr Paul Taylor on 01332 556020 for any queries regarding the building and Vicar Becky Mathew for any other enquiries on 01332 550224 including church services, weddings and funerals.

We are part of the Church of England and we love to pray, sing and be open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit upon our lives.

On Sunday mornings we gather together in worship and prayer, often to be challenged, inspired and encouraged in our daily lives and to catch up over a good brew.

We love celebrating birthdays and special occasions and offer prayer ministry during our services.

We have good level access for those who need help with mobility- just follow the signs. There is a loop system, car-park, lots of loos and a baby changing area.  We have plenty of space for buggies and pushchairs too.

Here is a map of where we are,  just a few miles north of Derby city centre.
